Course Overview
This course is designed to provide students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills gained from the Applied Research (OTH 6151) course. In this first Independent Study, students will become clear on their research questions, develop an explicit search strategy, produce a criterion-based selection for inclusion/exclusion of studies, conduct the search, identify and use a reference manager execute the search, and critically appraise the title and abstracts of the studies according to the principles and practices of conducting an evidence-based review.
